Rental Period
Day
one of the
rental is the
day the vehicle
is collected
by the customer
from ASC. The
last day of
the rental
is the
day the vehicle
is returned
to ASC regardless
of what time
of the day.
Rental Duration
Minimum
rental period
is 4 days
for Backpacker
Campers, Minicampers
and Hitops.
Motorhomes
are 10 days.
Early Returns
or Credits
There
is no refund
or credit
given for early
returns. Hirers
are charged
for
the time they
book the vehicle
NOT for the
time it is
used. If
a vehicle is
left at a place
different than
that stated
as the return
address
collection
charges will
apply. If
the vehicle
is
left at a different
city other
than that
stated as
the return
city
the full cost
of recovery
will apply.
Late Returns
If
a vehicle
has not been
returned by
3.30 pm in
Sydney
and 3.00 pm
in our other
offices
throughout
Australia,
our office
will close
and you
will be charged
another rental
day. If you
are running
late
and still wish
to return your
vehicle you
must ring
the office

) An hourly
rate of $45.00
will
apply for waiting.
An extension
of your rental
hire can only
be arranged and
authorised by
head office.

future bookings

Condition
of Vehicle
on Return
ASC
reserves
the right to
hold the bond
if a vehicle
is returned
in a dirty
condition.
The bond will
be returned
after
the vehicle
has been
cleaned
and checked
for damage.
A cleaning
fee may be
applied
to vehicles
returned
in a dirty
condition.
Flyscreens
on Windows
You
will note
that there
are
flyscreens
on some of
the windows.
You must ensure
you close these
windows before
driving to
avoid
the flyscreens
being broken.
They are there
for your own
comfort.
One Way
Rentals
All
one way rentals
and respective
charges must
be arranged
in
advance of
rental commencing.
If
a vehicle is
returned to
a different
address
from that stated
on the Rental
Agreement ASC
will charge
$ 45.00 per
hour
to retrieve
the vehicle.
Relocations
A
relocation
of a vehicle
is determined
as : A vehicle
that needs
to be relocated
from one city
to another
and
is therefore
offered at
a cheaper
price
than the daily
rate. Relocation
vehicles may
not be clean
and are offered
in the condition
that the last
customer returned.
Relocation
vehicles
may be cancelled
at short notice
and AllSeasons
do not accept
responsibility
if a vehicle
suddenly becomes
unavailable.
This is why
these
vehicles are
offered at
$1 per day.
The
Bond ( Excess
) for the vehicle
must be paid
at the time
of picking
up the
relocation
vehicle,
we do not
offer
insurance reductions
for relocation
so we strongly recomend
you take out
travel
insurance for
your trip.
Who can
Drive the
Vehicle ?
Anyone
listed
on the Rental
Agreement at
the start of
the Rental
may drive
the vehicle,
provided they
are between
21
and 75 years
of age. More
than one driver
may be listed.
A driving licence
must be shown
( ie national
licence valid
in Australia
) Driving by
an unauthorised
person will
result in
a termination
of all insurance
cover.
No Extra driver
fees apply.
Equipment
All
Cutlery,
Crockery,
Linen,
Pillows and
sleeping
bags are
provided
FREE of charge.
ASC reserve
the right
to charge
for lost or
broken
items.
Babies and
Children
Use
and suitability
of baby and
booster seats
are the
hirer's responsibility.ASC
accepts no
liability
whatsoever.The
correct use & suitability
of any form of
child seat & the
carriage of any
child or infant
in the vehicle
shall be the
full & total
responsibility
of the renter.
If you require
one for your
rental you
must request
this
at the time
of booking.
Valuables
ASC
assumes no
liability
for any valuables
left in the
vehicle
or stolen from
the vehicle.
ASC advises
not to leave
valuables
inside the
vehicle
when the vehicle
is left unattended
ASC further
advise that
whilst staying
in or near
cities
you stay at
a caravan
park
and use public
transport in
and out of
the city.
Please
note that damage
to windows
and locks
due to
a break in
is to be
paid by
the hirer.
Vehicle
Substitutions
ASC
reserves
the right
to
upgrade the
hirer to
a higher
rate
vehicle at
no extra
cost. Should
a lower rated
vehicle be
offered
our responsibility
is limited
to a refund
of the
difference
in the daily
rate
of the two
vehicles.
Reservation
Deposit
A minimum
deposit will
be required
to reserve
your
booking. A
vehicle will
not be held
until a deposit
has been paid.
Longer term
bookings
will attract
a 10% deposit.
Rental Payment
The
full balance
of the rental
will be required
at the start
of the rental.
Payable by
cash, mastercard
or
visacard. Personal,
company and
bank cheques
will
not be accepted
on the day
of pick-up.
These
must be arranged
14 days prior
to the start
of the rental.
Taxes
All
Government
taxes applicable
will be taken
at the start
of the rental.
All payments
must be made
in Australian
Dollars. ASC
does not accept
liability for
variances in
the exchange
rate.
Road Restrictions
No
vehicle is
allowed on
an unsealed
road.
Any travel
on an unsealed
dirt,
grass or gravel
road will void
all insurance
cover and all
damage costs
will be paid
by the renter.
Animals
and Pets
Small
well behaved
dogs may be
taken
in the vehicles.
Any pet will
incur a $150.00
Pet Cleaning
Fee as we steam
clean all of
the cushions
and curtains
at the end
of the hire.
ASC
must be made
aware of a
dog travelling
prior
to booking
the vehicle.
Other
animals may
be allowed
at ASC's
discretion.
Repairs
All
our vehicles
are maintained
and serviced
to the highest
standard. However
this does not
prevent the
occasional
mechanical
malfunction.
Minor mechanical
repairs of
up to AUD$50
may
be carried
out without
authorisation.
Any repair costing
in excess of
$50 must be reported
to us immediately
on (02) 9553
4666. We will
approve repairs
provided the
renter was not
responsible for
the damage. All
receipts for
repairs must
be given to ASC
for proof of
payment. ASC
are limited to
paying downtime
only whilst the
vehicle is in
repair.
Malfunctions
of items other
than mechanical
ie air-conditioning
or conversion
equipment are
not considered
as mechanical
breakdowns and
no downtime will
be paid.
Please note
we only fit and
accept Bridgestone
Tyres.
On The Road
Assistance
Any
problems
associated
with
your vehicle
including equipment
failure must
be reported
to ASC within
24
hours. We do
not accept
any liability
for
claims after
this time period.

Vehicle
Maintenance
Our
vehicles
are late
models
and maintained
to the highest
standard. However
it is necessary
for the hirer
to check all
fluid levels
and tyre condition
during their
rental on a
daily basis.
This includes
a daily check
of:
Engine Oil
and water
level.
Engine
Water
Level in both
the radiator
and radiator
overflow bottle.
Brake fluid
level
Water
level in
ALL Batteries.
It is the hirer's
responibility
to recharge the
auxiliary battery
if it is flattened.
Failure to check
these will result
in the hirer
being responsible
for any damage
to the engine
or other parts
of the vehicle
associated with
a daily check.
Customer
Responsibility
Joint
hires and
drivers listed
on the Rental
Agreement are
responsible
for
all the Terms
and Conditions
listed in these
explanation
notes and
the terms
listed on the
reverse of
the
Rental Agreement.
All Seasons
campervans
suggest the
Terms and
Conditions
are read carefully,
by entering
into
this rental
agreement
you authorise
ASC to debit
your credit
card or security
bond
with the following:
Any damage to
interior conversion
or equipment
items will be
charged for.
Labour rate is
$ 45.00 per hour.
Rental Bond
A
refundable
Security Bond
is required
at the start
of
the rental
as security.
This can be
paid in cash
or credit card
( only MasterCard
or Visa ). This
does not include
GST. If the bond
is withheld due
to damage then
GST must be applied
at the current
rate.
The
bond is
fully refunded
provided the
vehicle is
returned
on time, undamaged,
with fuel and
gas tanks full.
Refill charges
will apply
for ASC
to refill
fuel or gas.
The vehicle
must
be returned
in a clean
condition
with toilet
and
waste tank
(where
applicable)
empty
or a cleaning
fee will be
charged.
If it is suspected
the vehicle
has been
driven
off
road, or the
vehicle is
too dirty
to check
for damage,
the
bond will be
held until
a complete
inspection
of the vehicle
has been carried
out. If no
damage
is found then
the bond is
refunded
in full, less
any cleaning
charges due.
All rental and
bond payments
are in Australian
Dollars (AU$).
ASC do not accept
liability for
exchange rate
fluctuations
on the return
of bonds.
The bond
will be applied
for
each accident.
The
Renter is
also responsible
for all parking
fines, speeding
fines and other
driving offences
during the
duration
of their
rental.
Including administration
costs in respect
to traffic
infringements.
Exchange
Rate / Currency
Variations
All
credit card
transactions
are conducted
in Australian
dollars. Due
to exchange
rate
fluctuations
there could
be some variance
in the amount
refunded compared
to the amount
originally
charged.
ASC do not
accept any
liability
for variances
up or down.
Refunds
by credit card
can take up
to 14 working
days
depending on
the customer’s
bank or financial
institution.
Insurance
and Accidents
ASC
is to be
advised of
any accident
or damage
to the vehicle
within 24 hours.
Your insurance
excess is the
security bond
and will be withheld
in the event
the vehicle is
involved in an
accident. ASC
require as much
information to
be written down
as possible.
In particular
please take photos
of the scene
where possible
BEFORE moving
the vehicle(s).
Towing charges
will apply
after an
accident
in
the event the
vehicle is
un-drivable.
ASC
reserves
the right
to
have a vehicle
returned to
its nearest
office
location after
an accident
with all
towing costs
to be paid
by
the renter.
The excess
is charged
for each accident.
All Third
Party Personal
Injury
Insurance is
covered by
our compulsory
vehicle
registration.
ASC
reserves
the right
not
to replace
a vehicle
after
an accident.
Damage to
Vehicle /
Loss of the
Vehicle
