The Standard 0km per day rate includes the following:

• Motorhome Rental
• Standard CDR Insurance with a excess of CAD $1,500
• Free Additional Drivers
• Road Maps, Camp Guides etc.. on pick up

Taxes:
Tax is Applicable on all prices. The pick up location determines the tax amount as follows

• Calgary - 5%
• Vancouver - 12%
• Toronto - 13%

Packages & Extras

• 100 km/Day Package $27/day; adds 100km/day to each rental day
• Unlimited Kilometers $43/day add on to All Inclusive NET rates on page 13 (only in connection with the All Inclusive Rates) (minimum rent of 14 days required)
• 500 Kilometer Package $135/Package (not eligible for specials or discounts)

One Way Fees:
Calgary to Vancouver - CAD $700 (minimum 1 week rental period)
Vancouver to Calgary - CAD $500 (minimum 1 week rental period)

Additional Extras:

• Preparation fee - $75; Includes propane ill, 1 pack toilet paper , toilet & 1 container of chemicals
• Convenience Kits: CAD $80 per person (maximum CAD $320 per vehicle)
• Transfer - $75; transfers from / to speciied points (see pg. 21)
• Extra Kilometers - $0.37/km. Payable upon return of the vehicle; applies to all vehicles;

Mileage Options:

• 500km Packs: CAD $160 per pack (not eligible for specials or discounts)
• 100km Per Day Pack: CAD $34 per day.
• Unlimited Kilometres (Only available with the Inclusive pack): CAD $95 per day.
• Additional Kilometres: CAD $0.37 per kilometer (payable at the end of your rental)

Vehicle Pick Up / Transfer / Orientation:

Toronto:

• Pick-up at Airport Hotels. Drop-off at Airport or Airport Hotels. Downtown Hotel pick up and drop off on Mondays only.

Vancouver / Calgary:

• Pick-up at and drop-off at Downtown Hotels, Airport Hotels, and in Burnaby at the Accent Inn. Drop off at airport as well. Our traffic,especially in Vancouver, is unpredictable and we therefore will work closely together with a Taxi Company in order to serve our customers on time.

Express Pick Up:
To serve our customers faster and better we ask that the following customer information be sent to us at least one week prior to pick-up.

• A. Name, address, phone number and credit card number with expiry date of principal driver, email address.
• B. Name and driver’s license number of additional driver's)
• C. Name and address of transfer hotel
• Pick up and Transfer Times are between 10am to 3pm

The client must phone early in the morning or the day before, if they wish to be picked up. The client must pick-up and return the vehicle at Go West unless otherwise specified.

Upon delivery of the vehicle, the client must hold a voucher containing the particulars of the rental: party’s name, reference number, type of vehicle, items prepaid and items to be paid locally.

Orientation:

• Go West thoroughly explain the vehicle and appliances to our customers in person with detailed instructions so they will be sure to enjoy
  their camping trip.
• Go West explain the rental contract at which time we will collect for items not prepaid, insurance premium and cleaning security deposit.
• Go West give advice on where and how to drive in Canada. An explanation of how to operate the vehicle will be given in English, German, Dutch, Italian or French according to the client’s preference.
• The clients will receive free tour packages, maps and campsite information along with a personal explanation of things to do and see! Free storage of luggage is also provided.
• A reminder sheet will be given informing the client again what to do in case of breakdown or accident, rules and regulations of the road and how to maintain the different vehicles to operate the RV safely.
• We familiarize our customers personally with our vehicles and if requested, we will take them for a short test drive. We spend 60 minutes on this “hands on” explanation. (NO video!)

Vehicle Pick-Up and Return:
The vehicles are generally handed over between 10:00am and 3:00pm and must be returned between 8:00am and 10:00am. No pick ups or drop offs after 3:00pm. Late returns will be charged an extra $50/hour and our transfer to the hotel will be void. No refunds for early return!

SKYTRAIN
Canada Line is here! SkyTrain’s newest line opened August 17, 2009 and brings rapid rail service to Metro Vancouver’s busiest northsouth corridor , linking Downtown to Richmond and Vancouver International Airport (YVR). The Line connects people to dozens of local destinations, including Coquitlam’s “Braid” SkyTrain Station where Go West can easily pick-up and drop-off customers! Transfer from and to the Coquitlam “Braid” Skytrain Station is offered at no cost!
This is an easy, inexpensive and comfortable way to travel for our customers from and to our location!

FERRY TRAVEL
Please bear in mind that pick ups are between 10:00 AM to 03:00 PM in the afternoon. Depending on how busy they are, departure times cannot be guaranteed early so you could be rushed to make it to the ferry on time, or miss the ferry completely. Not a very good start to the holiday. The same problem could happen when you book a ferry from Vancouver Island to the mainland in the morning of vehicle return; You will not arrive on time to drop off the vehicle and will be charged a late fee. Therefore we kindly ask you not to make ferry reservations for same day as pick up or drop off.

TORONTO:
Pick-up at Airport Hotels. Drop-off at Airport or Airport Hotels or free transfer from/to Whitby Go Train Station (City Train). Downtown Hotel pick up and drop off on Mondays only.

Renters’s Responsibility:
Every renter must have a valid credit card to be able to rent an RV from Go West. The renter is responsible for the vehicle and will be charged for any misuse or undue care, mechanical damage due to negligence in vehicle operation or failure to provide normal maintenance.

This includes checking engine oil, fluids and coolant levels at each refuelling, as well as reporting mechanical failures immediately. Necessary repairs over CAD $75 require / need prior authorization from our office. Insurance coverage is void by not reporting any damage to Go West and Insurance Company within 24 hrs.

Coast to Coast Special:
Go West are proud to introduce an innovative and successful package that enables the customer to enjoy ALL of Canada! Why explore only one coast when you can see them both!

Here is how it works:
You fly into Toronto, spend your first night in an airport hotel and goes through the company’s rental and orientation process the next morning. You leave Owasco, Toronto for a minimum 10 day tour of the East.

After dropping off the vehicle at Toronto, you board a flight bound for Vancouver or Calgary. You then proceed to
Go West for the second leg of the tour and picks up an identical vehicle. As a result, you will not have to undergo a second motorhome orientation. Then you leave Calgary or Vancouver for a minimum 10 day tour of the West. The vehicle may be dropped off in Vancouver or Calgary.

Choose from Calgary, Toronto or Vancouver to start your trip.
One way rentals can be applied between Calgary and Vancouver. One way rentals require a minimum rental of 10 days and a one way fee applies. (you must book the same size vehicle at both locations)

Savings:

• 1 - There is no charge for the preparation fee & kits at the second pick up location.
• 2 - if All Inclusive Option is taken then 500km for FREE at each location.
• 3 - Taxes will be applicable to the Province in which the trip originates.
• 4 - Most airlines have small or no stop over fees.
• 5 - Save fuel and kilometres by not driving across Canada

Northern Surcharge:
CAD $300 per rental.3 weeks minimum
For all travel north of Fort St John on the Alaska Hwy, Cassiar Hwy, into Yukon and Alaska. Northern Rental must be advised and confirmed at time of booking. We allow northern rentals with Non slide C22-25 and C26 slide out vehicles. 3 Week Minimum Rental Period.

Minimum Rental Period:

• 1 week minimum rental.
• 1 week minimum on Vancouver - Calgary (or vice versa) one-way bookings
• 2 weeks minimum for Class A Vehicle bookings.
• 3 weeks minimum on Northern Rentals

Additional Driver:
2 drivers are free of charge,3rd driver and more $10/ driver/ day

Drivers - Age Requirements:
Minimum age: 21 years , Maximum age: 75 years

Cleaning deposit:
CAD $150 (CAD $250 for the Class A) - is processed at time of rental and refunded upon return of clean unit. NO Smoking is allowed in any of the vehicles.
NO Pets / Animals allowed.

Fees apply if rules are broken or the vehicle is returned unclean.

• CAD $25 dumping per tank.
• CAD $75 fuel refill service fee + fuel costs.

Additional Extras
Dishes & Cutlery: we always pack 2 extras of each item. Charges will apply for lost or broken equipment. Extras like wine glasses and teapots upon request.

Convenience Kits:

Roadside Assistance:
Customers renting Go West vehicles, have 24-hour Ford and Chevrolet roadside assistance in Canada and the USA. A car rental is provided if vehicle is not repaired the following day. This service does not cover the expenses for non-mechanical difficulties such as running out of gas, cooling fluids or oil, tire and radio problems, air conditioning, losing keys, etc.

Availability:
If, for any reason, beyond our control the reserved vehicle is not available, Go West reserves the right to substitute a vehicle of equivalent value, to refund all payments without further liabilities, or offer a higher rated vehicle at no extra cost to the renter. Any subsequent expenses (additional ferry costs, gasoline, etc.) are the renter's responsibility.

Should a lower rated vehicle be offered, Go West's only obligation is to refund the cost difference between the two vehicles. In the event that the renter refuses to accept the vehicle offered, the renter acknowledges that all payments will be forfeited and he / she will have no further loss or damage against Go West.
Important: Always add 2ft to any vehicle for "ferry bookings".

Insurance Details:
Go West maintains liability coverage on all its rental vehicles to a maximum of CAD $5,000,000 for any bodily injury and property damage liability claims arising from the operation or use of its rental vehicles.

Premiums for this basic public liability coverage are included in all rental rates, which also include premiums for collision insurance and comprehensive insurance (CDR) with a deductible of CAD $1,500 per occurrence. All coverage and waivers are subject to the express terms of the rental contract and of the applicable motor vehicle insurance contract.

Customer's Responsibility:
IIn the event of loss or damage to vehicle while on rental, whether or not due to the fault of the rental customer , the customer’s responsibility for direct and accidental loss or damage to the vehicle is limited to a maximum of $1,500 per occurrence. There is no limit however if vehicle incurs loss or damage not covered by the insurance as outlined in the insurance table.

Security Deposits:
At time of rental we charge the renter’s credit card with a Cleaning Deposit ($150 / $250 Class A) and take a signed imprint as an Insurance Deposit. Deposits are refundable upon vehicle’s check-in if it has been returned: On time, un-damaged, clean, equipment complete, holding tanks empty and gas tank full. Deposits given by charge – credit cards, will be refunded by same.

Travel Restrictions:
Motorhomes are not permitted on Dempster Hwy, Inuvik, Northwest Territories, Mexico or Death Valley. Alaska and Yukon, Cassiar Hwy, Alaska Hwy only with Northern Surcharge (conditions apply). RVs are not permitted on roads designated on the oficial provincial or state maps as “other roads – gravel or dirt”.

Breakdown and Repairs:
The customer acknowledges the possibility of a mechanical failure or breakdown, and acknowledges that such occurrence is an inherent contingency associated with the operation of the vehicle, and that such contingency is beyond the control of Go West. The customer agrees to hold Go West harmless from and against any loss of time, transportation costs, inconvenience, and loss of food in the vehicle, and any and all expenses resulting from such contingency in the event of a mechanical failure or breakdown.

Go West will make all reasonable efforts to assist the customer to obtain help or arrange for repairs, subject to the location of the vehicle and business hours of the repair facilities.

Within 24hrs. a report to Go West/Insurance Company and/or Police must be iled in case of an accident, any damage to vehicle, vandalism, ire or theft, otherwise insurance is null and void.

The following are not covered if damages are caused by:

• Failure to maintain all fluid levels
• Failure to use specified fuel or use of contaminated fuel; or fuel in water system
• Operation by anyone under 21 years of age or not license
• Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• Deliberate or wilful damage by renter or guests
• Travel in restricted areas (see pg. 26)
• Towing of any kind
• Freezing of the vehicle's systems
• More passengers than the available seat belts
• Damage occurring in an accident that the renter has failed to report to Go West, Insurance Company or police
• Nature damage (hail, storm, tornados)
• Motorhome theft in Montreal - when parked.

Cancellation Fees:
Once we make a reservation on your behalf cancellation fees apply. We therefore suggest that you take out Travel Insurance at this time.
